One of the outcomes from Saturday's PROTEM RA committee meeting is to set up our very own blog! With so many new neighbours, we hope this blog will serve to keep all residents in Glenmarie Temasya Suria updated on the latest news and developments.
While we await the draft minutes of the first resident's meet, please spread the word that our new home has a new e-home!
Keep watching this space for more updates!
I believe we not only need a Committee but we need a Chairman. I don't see any movement since last two weeks. Only a few willing to pay the contribution. still haven't register with ROS and yet haven't seen any barricade is on although 36% agreed to have it closed.
ReplyDeleteIt is very important to register it first before we can start any further. Its take only half an hour to do it.
I just heard in the meeting people scared to move in and afraid of their safety even elected committee also mentioned that he only want to move in after 2 years?
How to close it even few hundred ringgit only the owners not willing to pay it? compare to the price of the house...think about it.
How to move to the next level some of the committee take the advantage of these GTSRA to sell the house in the neighbourhood? and to make more money out of it ...
No experience? is just a damn reason. If you can own a million ringgit house don't tell us you do know to find the way...
I think we need a real committee and not just talking and taking advantage out of it.
I am wondering whether non-Protem committee members are allowed to attend / sit-in the upcoming meeting.
ReplyDeleteI believe for the start more ideas and transparency should be encouraged.
I am sure the committee awaits more support at this transition period !
I am sure safety and security is the top priority.
ReplyDeleteEvery owner should contribute to the RA.
The developer should contribute too as part of social responsibility.
Hi all, thanks for all the postings. The protem is working behind the scenes to get things organized, and 2 areas of priority are:
ReplyDelete1. Registering the RA with the ROS
2. Getting the developer to set-up the temporary barricades up
Dear anonymous1 - we have set-up basic office bearers. You seem familiar with the ROS process and perhaps you can help expedite? Please email glenmarietemasyasuria@gmail.com with your contact and I am sure your assistance will be welcome.
As for the barricades, we have been pushing I&P for this. It sounds as if you attended the first meeting. Getting 30 households to agree is nowhere near enough. If you are not already registered, please do so and help spread the word. We need to impress upon I&P that it is good business practice to ensure that their customers security is attended to - and in this case, all support counts.
Personally, I also hope you will reserve your judgement on the intentions of those volunteering for the job. Once the RA is properly set-up, we will need to organize a proper elections. Until then, I can vouch for the team that all are doing their best given the circumstances. You are most welcome to join is if you have the time since you too purchased an expensive property.
Anonymous 2 - please come for this Saturday's meeting. We need ALL the support we can get.
Anonymous 3 - would love to get to know you :) come this Saturday!
