Updates re: RA and Speed Bumps

We are pleased to inform all residents and owners that we have submitted the registration of Glenmarie Temasya Suria RA to the registrar of societies. This should pave the way for the formalization of the RA.

In the meantime, we have also submmited a written application to MBSA to set-up speed bumps along Jalan Askar and Jalan Pendaftaran U1/54, to discourage cars from speeding along these roads.

Lastly, a gentle reminder to all owners who have yet to endorse the setting up of the gated community, please contact us via email or comments via this blog. We cannot do this without your support!

Collection of Mobilization Fees

Dear neighbours,

As agreed in our first residents' meeting, Glenmarie Temasya Suria RA (PROTEM) is in the process of collecting RM 300 per household primarily to cover the mobilization costs of setting up interim measures to beef up security in our neighbourhood and any costs associated with registering the RA with the Registrar of Societies.

A joint account has been set-up under the names of Toe Hong Sim and Liew Sau Lin, who are the ladies in the PROTEM committee entrusted to safekeep the funds. If you have not already contributed, you can issue a check or do a direct transfer to:

Once you have made the transfer or banked in the cheque, kindly email Alicia Toe (aliciatoe2008@gmail.com) and provide reference of transaction so that she can tally the amounts.

We hope everyone understands that the task of safeguarding our community is everyone's responsibility. The PROTEM committee needs your support and endorsement to ensure that our plans for the our nighbourhood are carried out well.

Residents Meeting on 15 January 2011

Dear neighbours,

Please be informed that a residents' meeting has been scheduled for 3pm, Saturday, 15 January 2011. Apart from the usual updates, there will be a representative from the developer as well as the security company.

Among the matters to be discuss include the following:
- Updates on the ROS application
- Updates on the perimeter fencing and the temporary barricades
- Updates on the speed bump for Jalan Askar
- Collection of residents' contribution for the preliminary activities of GTSRA

We are still working on reaching the necessary quota for the approval of the perimeter fencing. Please spread the word among your neighbours or any owners you may know who have yet to attend the meetings.
